DESTINOS proposes a new alternative to know and feel a city from its essence through books that invite you to discover the wonderful cities of our country. "Destinos para Sentir" as the book is titled (hereinafter "book") immerses you in a sensory experience that goes beyond words, allowing both locals and tourists to experience the different destinations from the depths of their roots. Each chapter is carefully designed to explore Ecuador's cities through sight, smell, taste, hearing and touch, highlighting places, aromas, flavors, sounds and textures that bring Ecuador's beautiful cities to life.

The first edition of the book is an invitation to discover Quito as an inclusive book, providing accessibility to blind people through detailed and adapted descriptions. DESTINOS, guides the reader on a unique journey that reveals the cultural and natural richness of Quito from an inclusive and deeply emotional perspective. DESTINOS is not responsible for the content of the consumer products, interactive products or redemption products that are added to the books, it is the responsibility of each user to verify the expiration date of these products, according to the specifications and terms of each product.

  1. PURCHASING PROCESS

The language in which the contract between DESTINOS and the user will be perfected is Spanish and/or English. To make your purchase the user can check the search engine of the Website or contact through one of the digital channels open through social networks for the formalization of the purchase (data for billing and delivery location).

The titles that appear in our database correspond to books that have been incorporated into the DESTINOS inventory at some point in time and which are the exclusive property of DESTINOS.

  1. SALES AND DISCOUNTS

The books with discounts and rebates will be specified on the Web Site, which are subject to specific terms and conditions for each promotion according to DESTINOS' availability.

  1. PAYMENT METHOD

The user will be able to choose the payment method among the different options:

  1. Purchase at DESTINOS authorized stores or establishments: Cash, bank transfer.
  2. Orders through the Web Site: bank transfer.
  3. Orders through digital channels such as social networks: bank transfer.

DESTINOS reserves the right to change payment conditions according to season, promotions and product demand.

  1. SHIPPING

For orders in Quito and nationwide (according to the Courier's policy), the amount of shipping costs will be added to the total price of the order.

  1. RETURN OF THE BOOK DUE TO FAILURE

Returns can be made up to 3 working days from the reception of the book, as long as they do not have visible marks of use, such as: underlining, highlighting, writing, photocopy marks, tears (pages, covers, covers, flaps), signs of humidity, oil or other abrasives, and that it is found with all the interactive products previously detailed and inserted in the book; in this way the book returns will proceed only if there are faults of origin such as defective printing by the publishing company.

In that case, DESTINOS undertakes to exchange the defective book as long as it keeps an equal book in stock. In no case, the value of the book will be returned in cash, but a credit note will be delivered to be used within sixty (60) days in DESTINOS through any sales channel in order to acquire a book of equal or lesser value, if it exceeds the value, the user will cancel the difference.

All original content, features and functionality of our Service and what is contained in the books entitled DESTINOS TO FEEL in any of its editions, including, without limitation, the texts, diagrams, photos, graphics, logos, names, icons or software applications, as well as the domain names are the exclusive property of DESTINOS. All or any part of said Service and/or Book may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold or exploited for any commercial or other purpose not expressly permitted by its owner.

The reprinting, publication, distribution, assignment, sublicensing, sale, electronic or other reproduction, in whole or in part, of any information, document, interactive or consumer product or graphic appearing on the Web Site and the Books offered by DESTINOS is expressly prohibited to the user for any use other than personal non-commercial use, unless prior written authorization has been obtained from DESTINOS.

The user is expressly forbidden to modify, alter or delete, either totally or partially, the notices, trademarks, commercial names, signs, advertisements, logos or in general any indication that refers to the ownership of the information contained in the book.

DESTINOS is not responsible for the content, information, accuracy, reliability or any opinion expressed in the descriptions and synopses of books provided by third parties or for the content of any portal or web page to which they may be linked.

DESTINOS is not responsible for the content, opinion, information, accuracy or reliability of the products offered on the Service.

  1. DATA PROTECTION

The personal data requested will always be strictly necessary (billing process and/or product delivery management). DESTINOS undertakes not to use them for any purpose other than that agreed and not to transfer or sell them to third parties under any circumstances. BUEN VIAJE - DESTINOS PARA SENTIR (hereinafter "DESTINOS"), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains when and why DESTINOS collects personal data from customers, suppliers and collaborators ("holder", "you" or "your"), describing how that information is used, and when it may be disclosed. This policy will also inform you about your privacy rights and how you can exercise them, in order to strictly comply with the current regulations on Personal Data protection, especially as established in the Organic Law on Personal Data Protection enacted on May 26, 2021, and its Regulation enacted on November 13, 2023. PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA:

The Administration Area will be the area in charge of receiving requests, complaints or claims from the Data Controllers. This area will be in charge of carrying out the necessary internal management in order to guarantee a clear, efficient and timely response to the Data Subject.

SAFEGUARDING, SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA AND EXERCISE OF RIGHTS:

The Holder guarantees that he/she has the full legal capacity to accept the provisions of the Policy and shall be entirely responsible for this declaration and for the access and correct use of the Web Page.

 
The Data Subject declares that this Data Processing Policy has been made known to him/her by the Data Controller, that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the terms set forth in this document, and therefore grants his/her consent regarding the processing of the Personal Data provided.   1. Candidate's job title data:Contact information, CV information, work history, work references and training information, knowledge; among others.
  1. Personal data of Collaborators, workers/employees: Basic data such as names, telephone numbers, e-mails, among others. Special data such as credit and health. Data derived from the employment contract, requested forms, data obtained from security cameras, insurance affiliation forms.
  2. Personal data of third parties/suppliers/business partners: Data of individuals or staff members of suppliers. 
  1. Personal data of potential Clients: Include basic data (e.g., first name, last name, address, city, telephone number, e-mail address, nationality, date of birth, handwritten or electronic signature, voice, by recording of telephone communications, image by identity document).

  • Client's sensitive personal data: Personal health data and those complementary whose category is special and requires express and informed consent of the purposes to be intended. Personal health data can be the following: biometric data, disability status, health status data, clinical data, genetic data, data of ethnic or rational origin, behavioral data of personal habits, personal or physiological characteristics.

PROCEDURE TO KNOW, UPDATE, RECTIFY, DELETE INFORMATION OR REVOKE THE AUTHORIZATION:
